Clockwork Oranges Game Quality

The graphics are crisp and clear in this game. However, you may have to zoom in or squint to see the pay line numbers on either side of the reels if you play the game on a mobile device or on a small computer. There is a lined red background with coloured ornate symbols on the reels.

The game operates smoothly with little to no stalling as long as you use the most recent version of Adobe Flash Player. Clockwork Oranges is compatible with most operating systems and browsers. Some hosting casinos may require you to download the game.

Clockwork Oranges Game Play

This game gives you plenty of betting options. You can pick between one and 20 pay lines. The minimum bet per line is two coins, and the maximum bet per line is 500 coins. This makes the minimum bet per round two coins and the maximum bet per round 10,000 coins. Once your bet is set, click the start button to activate the reels.

Characters And Values

You can learn all of the symbols and their values by opening the paytable. This game is different from most Novomatic slots since it only has one high-value symbol that is not connected to bonuses. The game logo tile is the high-value symbol and will earn you between .08 and 10 coins depending on whether you spin two, three, four or five of it on a pay line.

A frantic-looking clock is the scatter symbol. It appears on odd-numbered reels only. Although it will not win you extra coins, it will trigger bonuses. We will cover these in the next section. The wild symbol is labelled as such, and it will earn you between .08 and 200 coins depending on the multiple spun on a pay line. It substitutes for all symbols except for the scatter.

The low-value symbols in this game are the higher faces of a card deck. You must spin between five and three of any one symbol to win a coin reward. Coin rewards vary from .40 to four coins depending on the symbol. These are the symbols from highest to lowest value:

  • Ace
  • King
  • Queen
  • Jack
  • Ten
  • Nine

Clockwork Oranges Bonus Feature

You can only spin a maximum of three scatters since they appear exclusively on odd-numbered reels. When you spin three of them, you trigger this bonus feature. First, a clock appears and determines how many hands will be used during the bonus feature. Cross your fingers for a higher hand count. This is a quick guide of the multipliers to expect based on the hand number awarded:

  • One hand = 4x to 100x total bet
  • Two hands = 12x to 250x total bet
  • Three hands = 30x to 500x total bet

To the right of the clock, you will see a prize board. The clock hands spin and land on different fruits, which are added to the board. When you see three of the same fruits appear on the prize board, the corresponding coin reward will be revealed. The clock hands will continue spinning if you trigger an additional bonus round by winning.

Gamble Bonus

Clockwork Oranges features Novomatic’s signature gamble bonus game. You have a 50 percent chance of doubling your current win if you click gamble instead of collecting. If you guess the gambling game correctly, you can collect your doubled win or gamble it again to quadruple your original win amount.

For example, imagine that you win 250 coins from the regular game. If you choose to gamble it and win, you receive 500 coins to collect or gamble. If you gamble the win and guess correctly, you receive 1,000 coins to collect or gamble. You can gamble until the feature maxes out, you collect or you lose the current win.
